Hello Richland! A New Urgent Care is in the Tri Cities

It's been a long road for us as COVID-19 delayed our opening dates, but we finally made it.

What is an Urgent Care?

Health First Urgent Care is a walk-in clinic, and if you are not familiar with what that is, think of it like a place where you can see a Doctor or a Physicians Assistant (aka. PA) for non-life threatening illnesses or minor injuries without the need of an appointment; or, without the need of spending A LOT of money unlike the Emergency Room.

Urgent Cares are designed to be smart, fast and cost efficient, but like I said before and I cannot stress it enough, WE ARE NOT AN EMERGENCY ROOM (this goes for all urgent cares, not just ours). If you, or a loved one is in serious need of medical attention and it is life threatening, dial 911 instead.

So, who uses Urgent Cares or Walk-in Clinics?

Well, people just like you reading this. Urgent Care is meant for you, your family, and even your employer can benefit from Health First Urgent Care.

What Services Do You Offer?

We provide a number of different services to get patients seen quickly vs waiting a week or two to get see by your primary care doctor.

  • COVID-19 Testing

  • Minor Illnesses

  • Minor Injuries

  • Lab Testing

  • X-Rays

  • Telemedicine (virtual doctor visits)

  • Physicals (all kinds, school, work, travel)

  • Occupational Health Services

How Do I Pay For These Visits?

Well, you have two options, Insurance or Self-pay. We accept all major insurance carriers and as time goes by, we will be accepting even more (it's the darn credentialing that sometimes takes a long time) See the list here.

There is a lot more information to come, but in the meantime, if you have any questions that this blog didn't answer or it created even more questions, please give us a call.
